ABOUT US: EST. 24/10/2023

- Founded by nursery parents as a welcoming, unisex club for all abilities. 

- Community focused and aimed to be back by 8ish for family.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION: 

- £25 that covers everything from club insurance to spare kit.

- We track how this compares to other local clubs to be competitive and good value for money.

- We have a formal Community Bank Account with Metro Bank.

COFFEE EXPENSES:

- We use a Tricount account to track the kitty and we use a shared debit card so people aren't paying for rounds of coffee with personal money.

- Settle your debt every couple of weeks, user guides in our Whatsapp Handbook thread.

- Don’t use the kitty, don’t pay a penny!

CLUB KIT:

- Made by Kalas, ~2 orders/year. 

- You pay for your kit via a direct link sent by the manufacturer

- Spare kit for mid-year joiners also purchased by the club.

DATA PRIVACY:

- Emergency contacts held securely, committee-access only.
- ICO registered for data protection.

INSURANCE & LIABILITY:

- We hold third-party liability insurance via British Cycling. We recommend your own cover via British Cycling or Cycling UK. 

- By riding with us you accept personal responsibility for your safety.

CLUB ETIQUETTE & SAFETY:

- Bike must be roadworthy and wear club kit if possible. No red light jumping. 

- Use lights in low visibility, load the route and carry a computer or phone to use it.

- Hand signals keep everyone safe.
